In 1918, Konosuke Matsushita invested his life savings to bring a two-socket light fixture invention to market. From these humble beginnings, Matsushita built a home electric products business on principles that were as simple and profound as his original invention: to create innovative products for the masses; to enhance the quality of people’s lives; and to supply goods and services at a reasonable price.

 His adherence to this philosophy allowed Matsushita to transform a small business into one of the largest electronics companies in the world. And it is these same core values that have guided Panasonic Canada Inc. – the Canadian sales arm of Matsushita Electric Industrial Company – since first opening its doors in 1967.



Today, Panasonic is best known for consumer electronics innovations, and leads the way in providing high-definition solutions that work together easily and intuitively.
