Air Pressure Exchange Core

Apex Core is a deeper understanding of air movement within an earphone system, streamlining 64 Audio's renowned Apex system. 

 

When you seal a miniature speaker in an ear canal, the air inside becomes trapped. As the speaker produces sound, it moves the air and causes the eardrum to work excessively. The pressure exerted on the eardrum causes ear fatigue, also known as listener fatigue. Apex Core relieves this pressure, allowing the eardrum to move naturally, so you can comfortably listen longer. 

 

With Apex Core, our patented technology is seamlessly integrated into the body of the earphone. In Aspire, a pressure relieving channel provides a controlled leak via acoustic filters as opposed to pneumatically interactive foam in our traditional Apex™ implementation.

 

Thanks to Apex Core, Aspire users can significantly reduce ear fatigue while maintaining roughly -20db of noise isolation.

 

 

Helmholtz Resonator

Acoustic structure for tuning integrated into the 3D-printed housing. This particularly sculpts the treble frequencies to elevate the sound of Aspire Series to our high standards.

 

 

Linear Impedance Design

Smartphones, body packs, amps, and DAPs produce audio with different output impedances. The interaction of the earphone impedance curve with the sources may result in the same IEM sounding different with different sources.

 

LID is a proprietary circuit that corrects the non-linear impedances of the drivers, restoring proper interaction with the source and preserving the desired sound signature.

 

 

Stainless Steel Nozzle

Our stainless steel nozzle, coupled to the molded ABS shell, provides durability needed for consistent use and the removal of ear tips. With a flange design and mesh grill, ear tips won’t fall off by mistake and the sound bore will remain free of debris.
