Description
Apex Modules
Each of these modules houses our innovative apex (air pressure exchange) technology, which alleviates listener fatigue by releasing air pressure sealed in the ear canal. This venting enables musicians and music enthusiasts to listen more comfortably for longer, and adds to a more spacious, rich sound. Unlike a solid plug, apex offers a high fidelity listening experience, so you hear more of what you want at a lower decibel level.
Apex modules are designed to work in our current in-ear monitors (excluding Duo, Trio & Fourté) and our High Fidelity Custom Earplugs. The modules are easily interchangeable so you can switch between all variations quickly.
Modules are sold in pairs only.
- The mX apex® module features a new internal design to achieve the most open and transparent audio experience within the apex module family. It reduces the ambient noise isolation to only -10dB, but in return transforms bass-heavy earphones into a mastering-grade tool with a very resolved sound signature.
- The m12 apex® module is the newest in the lineup, having been developed for those who felt that the bass drop between m15 and mX is too drastic — perfect for tracks where the bass is just slightly overpowering the rest of the spectrum, while still maintaining mid-range punch.
- The m15 apex® module features a combination of dual ambient ports (larger than the single hole in the m20) and modified internals to achieve -15dB isolation. This module is designed for an additional -4dB cut at 20Hz as compared to the m20, making it the middle ground between bass attenuation and isolation.
- The m20 apex® module provides -20dB of noise isolation, making it the ultimate choice for those seeking the highest level of isolation and the greatest level of sub-bass. It's included with all current 64 Audio custom in-ear monitors.

Warranty
64 Audio offers a two-year limited warranty on all current Custom IEM models. 64 Audio warrants all Custom IEM models to be free from defects in materials and workmanship in either the external shell or internal components for a period of two years from the date of fulfillment. 64 Audio will replace or repair custom models within warranty (subject to approval).
64 Audio offers a 90-day limited warranty on all accessories and warrants products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery and will replace any accessories within warranty.
64 Audio offers a 90-day limited warranty on all Professional Cables, Premium Cables, and IEM Microphone Cables, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90-days from the date of delivery. 64 Audio will replace or repair all cables within warranty.
Warranty does not cover the following:
Physical or hardware damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, water, ear wax, excessive volume, shock, negligence, misuse of ear gel, acts of God, misapplication or cosmetic normal wear and tear.
Damage caused by improperly or incorrectly performed maintenance or service by an unauthorized third-party or person. Unauthorized third party service and/or repair attempts may result in replacement at the cost of the customer.
Damage caused by modifications or alterations without the written permission of the company.
Any defect that is attributable to any failure or damage, which is beyond the reasonable control of the company.
In the case of a broken shell, we offer a remolding service which has a base price plus additional costs for customizations, replacement drivers, and shipping.
Cables are guaranteed not to be dead on arrival and have a 90-days limited warranty from the original shipping date.
