Leaf by leaf, the master gilders at Ateliers Gohard — the same workshop entrusted with restoring the Palais Garnier and other historic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty — apply 22-carat gold by hand to the side panels using the feuille perdue technique. The result is a unique, irreplaceable patina.
Beyond shining a light on French culture and craftsmanship on the world stage, this partnership helps fund artistic creation at one of France’s most prestigious institutions. The Devialet sound discovery area at the Palais Garnier celebrates our shared vision of excellence, where an entire orchestra of 16 Phantoms deliver the purest, most profound emotion that recorded sound can possibly deliver.

Each is designed in Paris and assembled in a state-of-the-art facility in France, originally built exclusively for Devialet Phantom. And every speaker undergoes a meticulous process that combines advanced machinery with the irreplaceable human touch, ensuring it meets Devialet's high acoustic and aesthetic standards.
The Opéra de Paris finish balances heritage and modernity. Inspired by the iconic gilded interiors of Paris's Opéra Garnier, this edition features the Paris Opera logo and gold leaf side plates hand-adorned by Ateliers Gohard, who also restores the gold of the Opéra Garnier. A lower gloss-percentage paint has been selected to bring beautiful, matte depth to the white body surrounding the gold panels.

Typical high-performance analog amplification comes at a cost: unreasonably high levels of energy dissipation. In a world first, Devialet's ADH hybrid amplification delivers all the refinement of Analog amplification (Class A) with all the power and compactness of Digital amplification (Class D). The improvement of the control algorithm between analog and digital makes it possible to achieve extremely fine and precise high frequencies,. HBI® Heart Bass Implosion
