An evening with Jack Oclee-Brown of KEF
2026 Sep 24th

Thursday, September 24 at 6:30pm
A special speaker on what makes a speaker special.
Dr. Jack Oclee-Brown is KEF’s Chief Technology Officer, leading the engineering and R&D teams responsible for pushing the boundaries of loudspeaker and audio technology. With deep expertise in acoustics, he plays a key role in developing the innovations that define KEF’s products, from Uni-Q and Metamaterial Absorption Technology to the company’s next generation of sound solutions.
Jack will be travelling from KEF’s headquarters in Maidstone, UK to Bay Bloor Radio in Toronto, CA for this very special event. He’ll present the new KEF LS LUXE active speaker system and its suite of acoustic innovations, including new Velocity Control Technology (VECO), a patented electromagnetic velocity sensor that tracks the motion of the voice coil in real time while the driver is operating to actively reduce distortion and compression.
A must-attend event for those interested in the art and science of loudspeaker engineering. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to reserve your seat.
