In LS LUXE, acoustics serve as the blueprint for design, shaping the form directly from sound principles. This design evolves beyond the LS Wireless Collection into a sculptural art piece, featuring organic forms and complementary geometries that create a distinctive, iconic presence – visually intelligent, elegant, and timeless. 

 

Performance by Design

LS LUXE features a cabinet constructed from a highly durable and solid material that reduces the need for internal bracing, maximising acoustic volume in a compact form. Its smooth, low- diffraction rounded cabinet design further optimises the acoustic performance, ensuring an exceptional listening experience. 

 

Floor Stands

Available separately, the specially designed S-LUXE floor stands feature a cable management system that conceals wires and an integrated mounting system for secure speaker attachment, creating an optimal platform for performance. 

 

Finished to Perfection

LS LUXE is available in three colourways.

• Dusk Titanium: inspired by cymatics, the study of visible sound and vibration. This finish gleams in the light with their luxuriously polished exteriors, unique from every angle.

Uni-Q

The 12th Generation 6.5-inch Uni-Q® driver features a refined design for wireless speakers, delivering clarity, sensitivity, and a wider, natural soundstage that fills your space with exceptional detail. This signature technology delivers a true point-source configuration, with the tweeter precisely placed at the acoustic centre of the woofer, ensuring uniform sound dispersion throughout the room. The Uni-Q® assembly is mechanically decoupled from cabinet to minimise panel vibrations that could otherwise generate audible distortion. Incorporated within the Uni-Q® assembly is a bespoke flexible decoupling chassis arrangement that decouples and dampens the vibrations of the LMF motor, preventing them from exciting the cabinet panels.

 

Advanced MAT®

Metamaterial Absorption Technology functions as an acoustic black hole, absorbing 99% of the unwanted sound energy from the tweeter’s rear radiation. This reduces interference and results in a cleaner, purer sound. Together with Uni-Q, these innovations and refinements deliver an exceptionally wide sweet spot, uncannily natural sound with vanishingly low distortion.

 

Velocity Control Technology

Debuting for the first time in a wireless speaker, VECO uses advanced motion-sensing feedback to actively reduce distortion and power compression, delivering highly accurate sound in any environment. VECO utilises a closed-loop feedback amplification system, combining KEF's patented velocity sensor and a custom current-drive amplification stage within both primary and secondary speakers. The velocity sensor measures the real-time cone motion, feeding this data to the amplifier, which instantly corrects any discrepancies between the input signal and the cone's motion. This real-time monitoring and negative feedback loop ensures that the signal reaching the driver's voice coil includes both the intended musical signal and necessary corrections, significantly reducing distortion and compression. The result is pristine clarity and a more linear, accurate bass performance at all times. 

 

Current-Drive Amplifier

Drive power precisely. By regulating current through a high output impedance, this sophisticated amplifier maintains constant energy and reduces distortion for a cleaner sound. LS LUXE features a highly optimised package of 100W Class AB and 280W Class D current-drive amplifiers in each speaker, which directly controls the cone's motion by regulating the current delivered to the primary voice coils of the tweeter and the LMF drivers, respectively.

 

Music Integrity Engine

To further refine performance, KEF’s MIE — a proprietary suite of DSP algorithms — has been specially tuned for the LS LUXE, enhancing sound integrity, detail, and accuracy. This custom implementation is tailored specifically to suit the LS LUXE's acoustic and electronics package, providing excellent dynamic control that ensures consistent tonality regardless of playback level or duration.

Seamless Streaming

LS LUXE utilises the class-leading W2 Wireless Platform that drives the LS Wireless Collection, offering seamless access to a variety of music services, including Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer and more. You can also stream directly from native apps like Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and QPlay, ensuring full fidelity in your listening experience. When using Apple Airplay or Google Cast, you can stream to multiple speakers, so you can play music all over your space.

 

Advanced Connectivity

Link all your sources. LS LUXE includes wired connections for your TV, CD player, and game console, featuring HDMI eARC, analog, optical, and coaxial inputs. Additionally, LS LUXE supports both wired and wireless interspeaker connections between the left and right speakers, allowing for flexible placement. It can play your personal music collection from a compatible NAS drive or music server. 

 

Dedicated Subwoofer Outputs

Add deep impact. Each of the two speakers also has a dedicated output for adding one or two subwoofers. Connect your subwoofers directly, or easily integrate the KEF KW1 wireless receiver. 

 

Seamless High-Res

Audiophiles will appreciate the extensive file support, accommodating lossless formats up to 24bit/384kHz (PCM) and DSD.

 

KEF Connect App

The KEF Connect app walks you through the set-up and controls the system and playback navigation, with intuitive sound settings so you can adjust LS LUXE to best suit your room. LS LUXE also comes with a host of other user-friendly features including volume settings, sensitivity adjustments, the ability to select a source to wake it up when it comes on, and more.

 

Room EQ

With its Room EQ DSP, LS LUXE can be fine-tuned to your room and personal taste without the need for a degree in acoustic engineering. Normal Mode is designed to talk you through the process with easy questions; all you might need is a tape measure. For those seeking greater control, Expert Mode allows you to configure EQ preferences with precision, enabling fine-tuning of the EQ in dBs for advanced users. For easy integration of a KEF subwoofer with LS LUXE, Room EQ includes subwoofer pre-sets for the best possible system performance.

 

Luxurious Remote
