OTL Vacuum Tube Headphone Amplifier
Elise is a high-end output transformer-less (OTL) headphone amplifier and preamp featuring 6SN7 and 6N13S tubes. Amongst the Feliks line, the Elise falls in a sonic middle ground between euphonic coloration and detail retrieval. No sonic information is lost, and the signature is musical with a focused soundstage, poignant vocal presentation, and excellent extension.
The amplifier is a fully proprietary design, built in Poland from high quality, carefully selected components, allowing it to deliver exceptional sound quality on a broad range of headphones — even of lower impedance, as low as 32Ω. Additionally, Elise can be used as a pre-amp for both tube and solid-state power amplifiers.
The latest revision of Elise features a beefed up power supply for more stable working parameters, and improved internal shielding and transformer wiring for better AC mains interference protection. A revised cathode module improves sound on all output parameters. Improved thermal management and more efficient passive cooling results in 60% lower operating temperatures for improved longevity and output stability.

The System
Elise is built with two 6AS7G power tubes (also accepts 6080) two 6SN7 driver tubes. Its power supply is based on a custom-made stabilized toroidal transformer with electronic ripple suppression. The amplifier is equipped with automatic bias circuit, therefore no retuning is required after changing tubes.
Upgraded
The 2021 (sometimes known as MKII or MK2) version of Elise has:
- New current sources generators for more stable working parameters
- Improved internal shielding and transformer wiring to better protect from AC/mains interference
- New cathode module, based on Feliks Euforia, with positive impact on all sound output parameters
- Improved thermal management and more efficient passive cooling driving up to 60% lower operating temperatures for improved longevity and output stability
OTL
'OTL' refers to a tube amplifier that is Output Transformerless. Elise offers a highly musical and detailed sound that is true to the tubes themselves by omitting output transformers, which can colour the sound. Feliks Audio has always followed design simplicity, minimizing the number of elements in projected signal path; thanks to this approach, we ensure that the sound produced by our devices is pure and true.

Elise is originally equipped with high quality tubes. Stock driver tubes are 6SN7 and power tubes are 6N13S. Tubes can be changed by the user, to the following.
