The new Fezz Audio Luna delivers the legendary warmth and musicality of EL34 tubes, combined with modern engineering for greater versatility and reliability. Stylish and well-built, it enhances both the look and sound of your setup. Luna is a true expression of Fezz Audio’s philosophy — where tradition meets innovation, and music comes alive.
With selectable Ultralinear or Tetrode modes, built-in HT and Sub Out connectivity, modular expansion card options, and a refined remote control, Luna combines timeless tube charm with today’s functionality.
Luna has three RCA inputs, and utilizes Toroidy toroidal power and output transformers for low noise and amazing dynamic abilities. Its 40 watts per channel allow a wide choice of speakers.
Toroidal Transformers
Fezz Audio’s single-ended amps are the first in the world to feature toroidal output transformers, preserving the unique character of single ended amplifiers while optimally coupling their limited power output to loudspeakers.
The quality of a tube amplifier is largely determined by the quality of its output transformers, and Toroidy, a sister company to Fezz, supplies high-quality toroidal transformers to a number of well-known audio manufacturers. This relationship provides Fezz with superb quality toroidal power and output transformers designed specifically for their amplifiers and at a lower cost than even ordinary transformers from other vendors.
With far lower flux leakage and less radiated energy than standard transformers, toroidal transformers ensure that the amplifier’s sensitive circuitry doesn’t pick up any additional noise from the power supply. The result is extended bandwidth and clearer sound. A patented winding process guarantees uniformity.
