Desktop DAC and Headphone Amplifier
The FiiO K7 is an industry best-seller — and for good reason. This compact desktop-class USB DAC and headphone amplifier sets a new standard in its class with its truly balanced design, featuring dual high-resolution AKM DACs combined with dual THX AAA amplifier chips to faithfully reproduce your music.
Equipped with USB-B, optical, and coaxial digital inputs, RCA analog line level outputs, and two headphone jacks (1/4" single-ended and 4.4mm balanced), the K7 acts as a bridge between your computer and phone to your headphones and speakers, allowing them to work together seamlessly with upgraded sound. Switchable low- and high-gain levels are available, enabling you to use the built-in amplifier at comfortable volume levels with almost any headphones.
Constructed from durable aluminum alloy, K7's classic design is just over 2" thick, allowing you to easily place it on modern desktops and workstations.

Dual DACs
To maximize performance in its class, FiiO has included dual DAC chips in K7 — one for the left channel of audio, and the other for the right. The AK4493SEQ from AKM is a premium 32-bit DAC with VELVET SOUND™ technology, achieving industry-leading low-level distortion characteristics and a wide dynamic range.
The XMOS XUF208 decoding chip uses dual clock management to handle various music formats with ease, allowing the K7 to support high-resolution file playback in almost any format: 384kHz-32bit/DSD256 (USB DAC), PCM 192kHz-24bit (coaxial), and PCM 96KHz-24bit (optical).
THX Amplification
For K7's headphone amplification circuit, FiiO has used THX AAA 788+ amplifier technology, typically only found in higher-end products. The FiiO K7 has an output power of 560mW into a 300 ohm load and 2000mW at 32 ohms. This design ensures both low and high-impedance headphones are powered sufficiently.

Patented feed-forward error correction topology creates realistic, fatigue-free listening by reducing harmonic, intermodulation, and crossover distortion.
Truly balanced
The K7 has a six-stage audio circuit with truly balanced analog and digital sections, helping to reduce crosstalk and accurately reproduce your music for a more enjoyable and pure listening experience.
Inputs and outputs
With comprehensive inputs and outputs, the FiiO K7 can cater to diverse audio setups.
It features digital inputs via USB-B, coaxial, and optical Toslink, plus a set of analog RCA inputs for direct access to the THX headphone amplifier section. The button on the front of K7 can be pressed to switch between these four inputs, with LED lighting indicating when the input has switched and is ready.
On the output side, there's 6.35mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced jacks to drive your headphones. Both are located on the front of the K7 for convenient ergonomics. On the rear, you'll find an RCA line output for interfacing with a variety of active speakers and external amplifiers. One flick of the handy switch allows you to switch between three output modes: LO for RCA line out with fixed volume, PRE for RCA pre-out with adjustable volume, and PO for headphone output via the 6.3mm or 4.4mm jacks.
Volume control
The high and low hardware gain levels allow you to easily adjust the K7 to handle headphones of various impedances and sensitivities for a rich and consistent listening experience.
Control the precise volume level using the large knob, with its smooth and satisfying rotation. The surrounding RGB indicator light ring is capable of displaying multiple colours, with a unique flowing effect during power on/off and input switching to add some visual excitement to your listening setup.
Thanks to ADC curve reconstruction, you'll experience a smooth 112 steps of adjustable volume free of channel imbalances and noise — ensuring that every note reproduced is natural and precise.
Power supply
The K7's power design consists of multiple independent stages, with the voltage of each controlled by low-noise, low dropout regulators. Feeding this power design is an included external 12V switching power supply. In sum, you'll benefit from plenty of clean power for your sonic enjoyment.
Intelligent protection system
FiiO has incorporated multiple intelligent protection systems into the K7 for you to experience worry-free listening. Overheating, overloading, and DC protection systems ensure that the K7 always operates at its best, so you can enjoy an unrivalled listening while maintaining the long-term performance of your headphones.
Aluminium construction
The K7 features an all-aluminium alloy construction, carefully finished with CNC and other processes. Its elegant black colour is exquisitely complimented by the gold accents of the THX and Hi-Res Audio badges. The overall shape is compact, allowing it to fit comfortably on any desk or workspace.
