Portable Dongle DAC and Headphone Amplifier
The FiiO KA11 is an ultra-compact dongle DAC that connects to phones, tablets, and computers. Inside are a high-performance digital to analog converter and headphone amplifier that work together to bring you a higher-quality listening experience with your headphones and earphones.
If you've been looking for a better-performing dongle than the one from your smartphone manufacturer that doesn't break the bank, here it is.
Purchases from Bay Bloor Radio include a 1-Year Warranty from FiiO Canada, with local repair/replacement without the need for international shipping. KA11 warranty does not cover physical wear-and-tear damage such as bending.
HiFi circuit
A high-performance DAC and op-amp, a high-precision crystal oscillator, as well as an independent power supply are all combined in a specially-designed audio circuit that allows the KA11 to effortlessly produce great sound.
The design is thoughtful, with specially chosen parts are all carefully laid out on an immersion gold finish circuit board, allowing the KA11 to have impressive performance at this size and price point. As a result, the KA11 is Hi-Res Audio certified — a testament to its excellent sound.
Compact but still powerful
Compared to the previous generation product, the KA11 is even more compact – making it even more portable and easier to carry around and use.
Cable and chassis
The cable is made of high-purity oxygen-free palladium-plated copper wires, which allow for low impedance, quick transmission of signals, and resist external interference. The copper wires are covered by a layer of flexible silicone and braided cloth, making for a soft yet durable cable.
The aluminium-magnesium alloy body is tough, yet also looks elegant with its perfectly placed curves and its inlaid designs. With a choice of black or silver, this dongle makes a design statement and can nicely match your devices.
The KA11 is carefully manufactured with rigorous testing at FiiO’s high-standard labs, with 5000 cycles of USB plugging and unplugging tests, cable weight-bearing experiments, and swing tests.
Compatibility
With the KA11 being available with both USB Type-C or Lightning connectors, you can freely connect it to Android smartphones, iOS phones and tablets, or to Windows and Mac computers — letting you listen to music at your convenience. Check the output port of your Apple device to ensure you select the correct version; other brands use USB-C.
FiiO Control app
The KA11 supports being adjusted with the FiiO Control app for Android devices. With the app, you can set the RGB lights, digital filters, and more. iOS is not supported due to Apple limitations for communication over USB.
