Complete your Minirig portable HiFi system with the Minirig Subwoofer 4. This latest generation has been upgraded with modular wireless connectivity, plus USB-C charging and full app control, making it the best, smallest battery-operated subwoofer in the world.
This is not a standalone speaker. Instead, it connects to wirelessly via Bluetooth to your Minirig 4, or via 3.5mm AUX cable to Minirig 3 and Minirig Mini 2 to enhance the low frequency performance.
The result is deeper bass and incredibly full sound from a portable audio system that can easily fit in your bag or backpack.
Wireless or Wired Connection
The true power of the new Minirig Subwoofer 4 lies in its connectivity: experience a complete modular wireless system by effortlessly linking the Sub 4 to multiple Minirig 4 speakers and Subwoofer 4s via Bluetooth.
Minirig Sub 4 also features two 3.5mm AUX sockets, which work as audio inputs and outputs, allowing easy daisy chaining and different configuration possibilities.
For example, the Sub works with stereo Minirigs, allowing you to create a portable 2.1 system. It's all modular, so you can build your collection even further and go beyond — even adding more than one subwoofer for truly epic on-the-go bass.
For older Minirig 3 speakers, the best method is to connect your source via Bluetooth to the Sub 4 and then use AUX out to the Minirig 3.
The Sound
The Minirig 4 on its own has powerful sound with great bass, but is limited by the physics of its size. The Minirig Subwoofer 4 works in harmony with your Minirig speaker to dramatically enhance the low end — any concerns about bass will vanish when you connect this compact subwoofer, which performs incredibly for its size.
The Subwoofer 4 produces much more bass output and digs much deeper, down to 38Hz. It also benefits from placement on the floor or in a corner, which boosts low frequencies even more.
We have invested years of dedicated Research and Development to refine the design, delivering enhanced power and precise control over the custom 3-inch dual neodymium driver.
A new 50 watt amplifier helps to move a surprising amount of air. This is paired with airflow technology and a custom folded horn design to extract the best quantity and quality of bass possible from the portable enclosure.
Its little surprise that music lovers, audiophiles, DJs, and content producers — who normally enjoy high-quality home and studio listening setups — choose Minirigs to take on the go, and often add the Subwoofer 4 to their system.

Optimized airflow technology allows the Minirig Subwoofer to produce the maximum amount of bass for its size.
The custom folded and flared S-shaped port design has been engineered to produce clear bass down to lower frequencies, with minimal distortion or noise.
Brilliant Battery Life
Minirig Subwoofer 4 has a boosted battery capacity, from 28Wh to 33.3Wh. The result:
- Up to 100 hours at lower listening volumes
- About 40 hours at average listening volumes
- Up to 6 hours at highest listening volumes
Now you can recharge quickly using the standardized USB-C cable. There’s so much power on board, that you can even use the Minirig Sub 4 as a power bank to recharge your phone or other USB-powered device.
Built in Bristol
The Minirig Subwoofer is designed and hand-built by a passionate team in Bristol, UK.
Its acoustic enclosure is made from a durable anodized aluminum shell, surrounded by high impact textured ABS.
Sustainability
The speakers themselves are built to last, and designed to be repairable at Minirig HQ in the UK to minimize waste and pollution.
And eventually, at end of life, special additives in the plastics enable microbes to break them down in landfill, reducing environmental impact.
