Portable Wireless ANC Headphone

40mm Dynamic Driver
In order to provide a solid hardware foundation for its acoustic and noise-canceling performance, Edge has adopted a large 40mm dynamic driver unusual in headphones of this class. With its large N52 magnetic circuit, lightweight CAW voice coil, and ample excursion, the driver provides superior low-distortion performance and excellent dynamic range.
MOONDROP's many years of in-depth experience in the pioneering application of diaphragm materials to dynamic drivers is reflected in the choice of a beryllium-plated dome and flexible surround composite diaphragm. The performance of this driver demands stringent requirements to ensure excellent objective sound quality in pass-through mode and outstanding driver performance under ANC.
Independent Acoustic Cavity
A smaller volume requires a more rigorous design. Through experimental debugging we determined the optimum volume and created an independent built-in acoustic cavity to isolate the acoustic environment of the dynamic driver from the electronic circuit and ensure the best possible acoustic performance.
Wireless Audio
Edge supports LDAC, a high-resolution Bluetooth audio protocol widely used in Android devices, which can deliver higher-resolution wireless transmission with larger dynamic range and wider bandwidth. AAC and SBC codecs are also available. Please note, EDGE does not support wired listening.
LDAC is turned off by default, and users can activate it through the LDAC function in the MOONDROP APP. Due to the performance and characteristics of LDAC. power consumption will increase and battery life wIll decrease when LDAC Is in use. Because of the increased data transmission capacity of LDAC, the anti-interference performance of connected devices may be affected. If you experience significant playback or dropped signal issues, please switch to AAC mode.
Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling
Edge adopts hybrid ANC combined with FF (feed-forward noise canceling) and FB (feed-backward noise canceling). Each side has two high-sensitivity microphones, resulting in a four-microphone noise monitoring system that continuously re-calibrates the noise cancelation, producing comfortable ANC in a variety of wearing conditions.
Microphones
Edge takes full advantage of the size of the headphones to place two microphones at sufficient distance to provide beamforming ENC. During calls, Edge will pick up the user's voice through beamforming positioning and block noise from other directions, delivering relatively clearer calls in a noisy environment.
Transparency Mode
Users can easily switch to transparent transmission mode by pressing the ANC button, thus enabling conversation without removing the headphones.
Up to 48 Hour Battery
Thanks to its built-in large-capacity battery, Edge supports up to 48 hours of continuous music playback, high-speed charging, and four hours of music after only 5 mins of charging.
Multipoint Bluetooth
EDGE supports convenient connection to two devices.
Earpads
Unlike most flat ear pads, Edge's oblique pads provide a better fit to the contours of the human head. The inert memory foam cushioning is comfortable to wear and delivers a more stable sound performance, offering a soft and pleasant experience.
Folding Hinge Design
The hinged-shaft headband assembly is made of aluminum alloy which has been carefully processed and polished to create a design that showcases not only fine metallic texture but also excellent durability, portability, and foldability.
