1DD + 2BA + 4Planar In-Ear Monitor
Introducing a remarkable multi-driver tribrid, incorporating innovative technology and a unique design element. Meteor features a high-quality driver configuration with one bass dynamic driver, two mid-range balanced armatures, and four treble planar drivers that come together to form a sound greater than the sum of its parts.
Uniquely, Meteor features a real meteorite panel embedded in the back cavity of the bass dynamic driver. This panel acts as a vibration damper, and also adds a unique aesthetic touch not unlike high-end watches that have previously incorporated this rare material.

A Journey of Billions of Years, Travelling Through the Stars
Meteorites carry with them a special texture; a distinctive pattern formed by the extraterrestrial minerals iron grain stone and taenite. To form such a pattern, the meteorite must cool slowly at a rate of just 1°C every million years deep within an asteroid's core.
Meteor features a real meteorite chip panel as part of its faceplate. Meteorites have natural textures, and each slice may vary; as such, the Meteor panel you receive may differ slightly from the one pictured, but will have its own unique pattern making your IEMs one of a kind.
1DD + 2BA + 4Planar Tribrid
Moondrop's XTM complex technology series employs a sophisticated frequency crossover architecture that successfully accommodates seven drivers within the Meteor. Notably, within its larger shell, the IEM includes an oversized bass dynamic driver, enhancing the overall audio experience.
13mm Oversized Bass Dynamic Driver
The uniquely designed multi-driver frequency crossover acoustic structure allows the innovative placement of the 13mm oversized bass dynamic driver. This driver, equipped with an N52 neodymium magnet and a composite dome diaphragm, delivers an ultra-large dynamic range and significantly lower distortion compared to traditional smaller drivers.
Miniature Treble Planar Drivers
Meteor adopts four brand-new miniature planar magnetic treble driver on each side. Although manufacturing precision is equivalent to that of balanced armatures, the miniature planars avoid the problems of narrow bandwidth and high odd-harmonic distortion caused by balanced armature drive pins. Meteor's four miniature planar magnetic drivers deliver lower distortion, more detail and smoother treble than equivalent balanced armatures, and are easier to drive than earphones with electrostatic drivers.
Acoustic Metamaterial
A precise passive acoustic notch filter structure is created by combining metal components with 3D printed front cavity technology within the acoustic nozzle path of the dynamic driver. This configuration effectively eliminates fluctuations caused by the resonance of the dynamic driver at 4.7 kHz and 7.2 kHz, thereby producing a purer and smoother sound.
3D Printed Body
The XTM load technology features a complex and highly accurate frequency crossover structure, which presents significant challenges for maintaining process accuracy and reliability in 3D printing. After several years of in-depth cooperation, we have established a long-term strategic relationship with HeyGears, a leading 3D printing supplier. By upgrading and improving high-precision DLP-3D printing technology and equipment, we are constantly adapting to the increasingly stringent requirements of manufacturing accuracy and stability, thus making possible high-volume production of the complex structure within our IEMs.
Replaceable Cable
As typical for Moondrop, Meteor uses a 0.78mm 2-pin universal replaceable cable, allowing users to adopt third-party cables and adapters to meet their needs. The newly designed cable included in the box is made from copper and silver-plated with a Litz structure. It features an interchangeable plug that is securely attached with a newly designed screw. This design not only enhances aesthetics but also offers practicality, allowing for easy replacement and quick switching between the included 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced terminations.
