Samsung’s proprietary Micro RGB Technology arranges these individually-controlled red, green and blue micro RGB LEDs — each less than 100 micrometres in size — in an ultra-fine pattern behind the panel.

To harness this backlighting breakthrough, immense computational power is needed. Samsung has developed its own Micro RGB AI Engine, with a neural processing unit that's twice as fast as the engine behind Neo QLED 4K.

Recommended viewing distance: 11.5 – 15.6 ft

Distances range derived from The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). They recommend the screen occupies a minimum of 30° of your field of view for a good, comfortable viewing experience, and 40° of your field of vision for a more immersive cinematic experience.
