Using headphones is all about your own personal sound. With the BTA1 TV Transmitter, you’re in complete control.
The transmitter gives you cinema-like sound, but on your headphones. Dialog easier to understand with advanced Speech Clarity. This feature selectively boosts the volume of dialogs and enhances their clarity so words are easier to understand. You can also turn on Virtual Surround Sound: it puts you right into the action, perfect for movies and sports. The BTA1 transmitter adapts automatically to Dolby Digital or PCM/Stereo formats. So you can enjoy rich, immersive sound.
And when the volume goes up unexpectedly during ads or loud action scenes? Normalize Volume automatically smooths out volume spikes—so you don’t have to ride the volume control when action scenes come up or dialog goes down to a whisper. The Bluetooth LE codecs offer very low latency. That means you never get that awkward lag between lips and words or actions and sound effects.
Connect to any TV with ease
We did thorough user testing to make sure installing and using your new BTA1 Transmitter is dead simple. The setup guide walks you through it.
To make it as easy as possible to install, the transmitter offers HDMI, USB, optical, and analog ports. Optical and analog cables as well as a USB cable are included for compatibility with nearly any TV right out of the box. Just plug in the transmitter, pair your Auracast™ headphones, and—voila—you’re connected.
The Sennheiser Smart Control Plus app was also designed with usability in mind. For example, it allows you to adjust the Normalize Volume feature and also adds encryption for your privacy.
Let anyone listen in with Bluetooth Auracast
More than one person wants to watch TV with headphones? It’s easy with the BTA1 TV Transmitter.
The BTA1 transmitter also has a special broadcast capability called Bluetooth Auracast™. This feature lets our transmitter broadcast to an unlimited number of Auracast™ headphones. Perfect if you want to watch together with your partner or friends. Or even a large group. You can also choose to leave the TV loudspeaker on for anyone not wearing headphones.
It’s like an old-school radio channel, but smarter. Because with Auracast™ headphones, everyone can choose their own volume and sound settings. People are free to roam about, too: The transmitter broadcasts high-quality, near-lossless audio within a range of up to 50 meters. The transmitter also works with AV receivers, radios, or basically anything with an audio output.
