Ampster BT III is the 3rd generation of Tangent’s popular compact amplifier – now even more versatile and technologically advanced. With its compact size and elegant satin black finish, it integrates naturally into any modern home.
Delivering 2 x 50 watts at 4 ohms, the amplifier combines solid power with precise control, ensuring both music and TV sound are reproduced with energy and balance.
Ampster BT III offers a wide range of inputs so you can connect almost any source.
- HDMI ARC/CEC for direct connection to your TV, with volume control via the TV remote.
- Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD for high-quality wireless streaming from smartphone, tablet, or computer.
- RIAA phono input for connecting a turntable directly – no separate preamp needed.
- Optical Toslink and 2 x RCA line inputs for both digital and analogue devices.
- USB-C port for charging your phone or other devices (5V/1A).
Ampster BT III is as easy to use as it is to listen to. Auto On/Off ensures the amplifier wakes up automatically when a source is activated – HDMI, Bluetooth, or analogue – and switches to standby when not in use.
A dedicated subwoofer output with fixed crossover (250 Hz, 12 dB/oct.) makes it easy to expand your system with deeper bass.
An external IR receiver is included, allowing you to hide the amplifier in a shelf or cabinet while still controlling it with the remote.
