It features a 3-way ported tower design with a striking combination of wood veneer and grey matte sandblasted metal parts. The front baffle, like the cabinet sides, are made in walnut or wenge hand-finished natural wood.

CAMELIA MIDRANGE

At the heart of Olympica is the Camelia midrange driver, originally developed for Suprema and crafted to reproduce the most essential part of the acoustic spectrum with exceptional resolution. Inspired by the natural geometry of the camellia flower, its non-circular membrane helps reduce unwanted resonances while offering its full surface to the listener. The result is remarkable transparency, vocal realism, and the unmistakable natural sound of Sonus faber.

CORK DAMPING STRUCTURE

In Olympica III and Olympica V, the tweeter and midrange are housed in a dedicated closed acoustic chamber, designed to enhance driver performance. This internal volume is damped with a specific cork structure, developed through computer simulations and shaped into an organic form. Natural and sustainable, cork plays a key role in improving resolution and preserving the natural character of the midrange.

The refreshed top plate design gives Olympica a more distinctive and elegant identity. The Sonus faber logo, positioned on the top surface, adds a refined signature detail that reinforces the collection’s contemporary luxury expression.

45-DEGREE WOOD VENEER

Olympica is elevated by a full-surface herringbone wood pattern, inherited from the iconic Stradivari design language. The 45-degree veneer enhances visual continuity across the cabinet while celebrating Sonus faber’s mastery of wood craftsmanship, giving each loudspeaker a refined and distinctive presence.

ELEGANT GRILLES

Olympica features iconic removable grilles, inspired by fine stringed musical instruments. They are semi-transparent, allowing the stunning materials and design underneath to remain visible even when the grille is attached.
