At its heart is Technics' Magnetic Fluid technology, working together with advanced acoustic design to deliver low-distortion clarity and a naturally expansive soundstage.

Precision-Engineered Driver Unit

A uniquely engineered driver unit combines an SST Edge, a carbon-fiber diaphragm and Magnetic Fluid technology. Precise, stable diaphragm movement reduces distortion, delivering subtle musical detail, powerful bass and a naturally expansive soundstage.

• Magnetic Fluid: Precise movement. Lower distortion. Magnetic Fluid helps keep the voice coil centred for stable, accurate movement. This allows the diaphragm to respond with greater precision, reducing distortion for remarkably clear sound.
  
• SST Edge: Greater control. Finer detail. The SST Edge, also used in Technics' high-end speakers, helps suppress unwanted vibration while supporting smooth, controlled diaphragm movement. Even subtle musical details are reproduced with clarity.
  
• Cone-Shaped Pure Carbon Fiber Diaphragm: Lightweight rigidity for precise response. A lightweight, highly rigid carbon fiber diaphragm is combined with an optimised cone shape. By suppressing unwanted resonance and deformation, it responds precisely to the input signal to reproduce even subtle musical details with clarity. *Pure Carbon Fiber refers to a non-composite, non-laminated diaphragm construction. The term does not indicate that the diaphragm is composed exclusively of carbon fiber.
