Full-Size Vacuum Tube Stereo Integrated Amplifier
Years in the making, EA13 is FiiO's tube integrated amplifier made for two-channel hi-fi stereo systems.
It's designed to merge the magic of classic valve amplification with a surprisingly accessible price point. As the tubes glow, the mechanical meters dance, and the warmth of analog sound fills your space.
The goal of EA13 is to bring the musical character of a classic tube amplification experience to an expanded audience. Add your choice of speakers, a music source, and enjoy.

6 Tubes
The preamp voltage amplification stage features two SYLVANIA NOS PCF80 tubes, produced by one of America’s premier tube manufacturers — delivering refined, transparent sound with an open and natural soundstage.
The power amplification stage features four Czech JJ ELECTRONIC EL34 tubes, classic European designs — offering warm, full-bodied sound with pure, unmistakable tube character.
Due to factors such as production batch variations, storage duration, and natural oxidation, the silk-screened markings on vacuum tubes may exhibit slight blurring, fading, discoloration, or even partial peeling. This is a normal and natural occurrence with vacuum tubes and does not affect their performance or sound quality.
Class A push-pull amplification
EA13 draws on the classic circuits of renowned tube amplifiers from the golden era of the 1950s. With a pentode mode and pure Class A operation, the result is a sonic signature that is delicate, dense, silky, and beautifully transparent.
The 28W+28W (8Ω) output is capable of driving many bookshelf speakers and even select floor-standing models, seamlessly combining exceptional refinement with authoritative control. From the subtle nuances of a performer's breath to the expansive soundstage of a concert hall, every detail is rendered with vivid, lifelike realism.
Output transformer
The output transformer plays a large role in determining the sound of a vacuum tube amplifier, so FiiO focused on commissioning a custom EI silicon steel laminate output transformer. It is filled internally with epoxy resin and fine sand, then fully sealed within a robust transformer enclosure.
This construction effectively suppresses transformer vibration, provides excellent electromagnetic shielding and moisture protection, while significantly enhancing overall stability and longevity. The result: a blacker background, tighter and weightier bass, and more refined treble, allowing both the music's finest details and most powerful dynamics to be faithfully reproduced.
Connectivity
The EA13 focuses on the analog. Connect your speakers to the gold-plated binding posts, with both 4 and 8 ohm impedance options. Four RCA analog audio inputs allow you to connect external digital streamers, CD players, DACs, and more. You can even add a turntable (external phono preamplifier required). A 12V trigger input allows synchronized power on/off with compatible external devices.
Distinct design
The EA13 is where modern design aesthetics meet classic acoustic principles in a bold reimagining of the tube amplifier. Its aluminum CNC-machined front panel is thickened and sandblasted for a refined tactile finish that effectively suppresses resonance. A unibody chassis creates a clean and commanding presence that's solid in construction, with excellent electromagnetic shielding. Recessed tube mounting paired with an integrated protective cover delivers a sleek modern look without sacrificing safety. Finally, side grille ventilation and vibration-damping feet round out a design where every detail serves the music.
Low-power standby mode
A built-in precision signal detection circuit monitors the input continuously. After 30 minutes without a signal, the EA13 automatically enters standby mode — reducing energy consumption and helping to extend tube lifespan.
Headphone output
Connect a pair of headphones for a private listening experience. When using the headphone output, the speaker outputs are not disabled; please disconnect the speaker connections first. It is recommended to connect dummy loads with matching impedance to the speaker terminals to avoid operating the device under light-load or no-load conditions for extended periods.
Analog potentiometer volume control
Volume control is handled by a high-quality analog potentiometer, delivering smooth and delicate volume adjustment for a precise and natural control experience. The all-analog experience means there is no remote control or digital volume, just a tactile knob.
VU meters
Evoking a classic aesthetic, these true mechanical VU meters feature a warm retro backlight driven by a dedicated control IC. When the music starts, the needles dance in perfect harmony with your music. The music becomes not just something you hear, but something you can actually see.
The VU meter pointers may show a deviation of up to 1mm at the zero position, which is within the factory specification tolerance. Slight misalignment between the left and right pointers when returning to zero is a normal manufacturing phenomenon and does not affect actual usage.
Input selector
The left knob is a high-quality encoder, delivering tactile feedback for control. Turn it to change inputs. Single press it to cycle through different colours of LED knob lighting. Double press to turn off the LED lighting and VU meter backlight.
RGB lighting
The vibrant dual-knob lighting can be fully adjusted to complement the natural, warm amber glow of the tubes, allowing you to curate a personalized visual aesthetic for your listening space. Or, turn them off — the choice is yours.
