Samsung’s proprietary Micro RGB Technology arranges thousands of individually-controlled red, green and blue micro RGB LEDs — each less than 100 micrometres in size — in an ultra-fine pattern behind the panel. These microscopic lights enable ultra-wide spectrum colour with pinpoint accuracy.

R85H features Samsung's streamlined Micro RGB AI Engine, with a neural processing unit that's fast enough and smart enough to enhance every scene. By using Artificial Intelligence to precisely control the backlighting system, Samsung Micro RGB is capable of achieving 100% coverage of the BT2020 Wide Colour Gamut for a breathtakingly lifelike viewing experience, previously unprecedented in consumer televisions.

Despite all the new technology within, R85H features a classic design that's just 2 inches thick. It can be mounted on your wall, or sit on the included feet.
